Modern Ukrainian decorated egg ′Flowers′Modern Ukrainian pysanka

(Chicken eggshell, quail eggshell, combination of etching technique with classic wax technique).

This is one of my favorite Ukrainian decorated eggs (pysanka). A delicate, white egg was painted in the etching technique. It hides a little, colored Easter egg inside, made in the classic Ukrainian style on the wax technique. It looks like this little easter Eggy is playing hide and seek with someone)

The combination of red, black, yellow and green is the most popular in folk Ukrainian egg ornaments. This pysanka is supplemented with white stars and crosses on the bigger white egg. It inspires Ukrainian authenticity, which has been carried through the centuries to our time.

The composition could be used not only as an Easter decoration, but as an daily home decor too. It is also a good gift for relatives or someone close to you.
