Tassel keychain with embroidery “Mallow”

Leather tassel keychain with hand-embroidered “Mallow”. The ornament depicted on the pendant symbolized the sun. It has long been used for painting Easter eggs. It encodes a straight cross and a slanting cross, which are typical solar signs. The mallow flower itself in Ukraine is considered a symbol of family harmony and love for native home.

The keychain is made of genuine leather. The embroidery is made by hand with waxed thread. Leather cuts are treated with special protective agents. Diameter of the round part is 4.5 cm. The full length of the keychain is 19.5 cm (including the ring).
