Zgard ′Bereginya′
Bereginya is a female Slavic deity. Her other names are Rozhanitsa, Vereginya, Pereginya, Berezha. Beregini′s main task is to give and preserve life. The ancestors asked Beregina for protection (hence the ′charms′), well-being for the family and clan.
Bereginya is most often depicted as a woman with her hands down or down. Sometimes there are birds in the image of the goddess, symbolizing the sun. In some places, the image of Beregini merged with the symbol of the Tree of Life, so sometimes there is an image of a snake-legged woman - the roots sprouting into the ground, while the figure itself tends to rise - to the sky and the sun. In some drawings, the woman′s head is depicted by the sun.
These ornaments are unique witnesses of the preserved traditions that have survived to our time, and have not lost their caution.
Can be worn as a standalone jewelry, and combined with a coral necklace. Looks great with an embroidered shirt.
